Combat

Use a Harn like combat system where the defender can either dodge, block, counter-attack or ignore. Both attacker and defender roll at the same time.

Roll Type

CF: Critical Fail. Roll over the skill ending in 0 or 5 (i.e. 20% of the fail chance). This is also a fumble if the roll divisible by 20 (i.e. roll over the skill results in 20, 40, 60 ,80 or 00; this equates to 5% of the fail chance, same fail chance as in BRP).
MF: Marginal Fail. Roll over the skill.
CS: Critical Success. Roll under the skill ending in 0 or 5 (i.e. 20% of the success chance).
MS: Marginal Success. Roll under the skill.

Result

Wild: Attacker misses, might hit someone else?
Miss: Attacker misses.
Block(x): Attacker is blocked. Blocking weapons (Attacker or Both) take x damage.
DFA: Defender gets a free action. Free action can not involve weapon just used to block. Attacker can not block a free attack with the weapon they just used to attack with.
DCR: Defender can change range or disengage.
A1: Attacker hits, normal damage.
A2: Attacker hits, weapon special damage.
A3: Attacker hits, weapon special damage + maximum weapon damage or secondary weapon special (or ignore armour if CS).
A4: Attacker hits, weapon special damage + 2 of maximum weapon damage, ignore armour or secondary weapon special.
D1: Defender hits, normal damage.
D2: Defender hits, weapon special damage.
D3: Defender hits, weapon special damage + maximum weapon damage or ignore armour or secondary weapon special.
B1: Both hit, normal damage.
B2: Both hit, weapon special damage.

Secondary Weapon Special

If result indicates secondary weapons special choose an appropriate dammage type for the weapon.

For impaling weapons secondary is bleeding (or knockback for a spiked shield).
For bleeding weapons secondary is crushing or knockback.
For crushing weapons secondary is bleeding or knockback.
For knockback weapons secondary is crushing.

Missile
